Printer Medics | Maintenance Agreements
Printer Medics is a Yorkshire based company offering laser printer repair and laser printer maintenance. We are within easy reach of Leeds, York and Doncaster commercial centres.
With older models of printers, the maintenance contract can be a useful tool in keeping the printer running at a reasonable cost, but we do feel that they have one significant drawback. When a maintenance contract is in force, there is normally one winner from the contract which can be either you, the customer, or ourselves depending on the callouts made during the year. If we aren't called out at all, then you may feel that you haven't had value for money, although you will of course had the benefit of 100% uptime on your printer. If we get called out a number of times then, with the boot on the other foot, we lose out. With newer models then the client is much more likely to lose out as laser printer technology has mean't that they are much more reliable than they used to be.
We feel that there is a better way forward - see below for details.
Having said that if a client feels that he or she needs the security of a contract, then we'll certainly go along with that requirement. Just like our repair service, if any parts are required, we quote you the cost before we fit them.
Charges are based on machine types and locations, and start from:

A better way forward
Our business philosophy is based on having a close business relationship with a client which we both gain from. We feel that we can best help businesses with their printing challenges where we have an ongoing relationship rather than a one off repair when things go wrong.
We believe that if you buy your inkjet and toner cartridges from us on a regular basis we can save you money and time by:
- Giving you the best value for money on original inkjets and toners by passing on the benefits of our buying deals with the largest distributors of cartridges in the UK.
- Supplying recycled cartridges where they have been proven to perform to original manufacturers specifications on print quality and page yield.
- Wherever possible, diagnosing and solving any printer problem that you may have over the phone and free of charge.
- When we do have to come out to effect a repair then we'll give you a 25% discount on our labour charges.
- If it turns out to be the toner cartridge that we've supplied that is at fault then you pay nothing for the callout.
We think that this is a much better proposition than the simple maintenance contract and would be happy to discuss this with you.
